EL MUNDO ES NUESTRO
A film by Francisco Márquez
ANDRÉS (33) collects garbage alongside ANA (35) and their CHILDREN in Asunción. Tired of the misery they endure, they decide to move to Curuguaty, where they occupy land and work it as a community.
There, amidst threats of eviction, Andrés develops a mystical and loving bond with the land. This connection transports him back to the era of the war (1870), where, alongside a weary army, he marches toward Cerro Corá for the final battle.
Strengthened by the spirits of the past and aided by the ghostly army, ANDRÉS and his companions will succeed in resisting eviction and starting a new life.
