Synopsis
The documentary series La Memoria Silenciada delves into social and political events that dramatically shaped multiple generations in the Canary Islands during critical periods such as the Spanish Civil War, the post-war years, and the early days of democracy.
The series examines episodes such as the Fyffes halls in Tenerife, the hidden refugees on El Hierro, the Fogueo in La Gomera, the events following the Semana Roja in La Palma, the war and post-war experiences in Lanzarote, the grim legacy of the Tefía concentration camp in Fuerteventura, and the so-called Sucesos de Sardina del Norte in Gran Canaria.
