Semillas que el mar arrastra

A film by El Hadji Samba Sarr

In Africa, many children dream of traveling by cayucos (small boats), leaving behind their homes and families with the hope of working in the destination the sea leads them to. Those who make it to the other shore are met with a reality far from what they imagined: detention centers for underage immigrants.

This documentary film gives a voice to immigrant children who yearn for a better life in the “promised land.
